Flash Mob Karate!

Flash Mob Karate Techniques!

I love the idea of getting caught in a flash mob and having to use Karate.
A flash mob is basically a bunch of people who decide, apparently spur of the moment, that everything in the store is free. So fifty kids all start grabbing stuff and run out the door.

flash mob karate

Do you think Bruce Lee would have stood for Flash Mobs?

Now, the kids need a spanking. That is obvious. But how do you administer one without getting caught?

Well, when the kid runs by, holding a bunch of candy in his gluttonous arms, you stick out a foot and trip him. With all the commotion, and the cameras generally being up high, there is little chance that your foot will be seen.

Then, you act like somebody tripped you, and you fall on him. And make sure you do a breakfall, with your elbow point. Okay, maybe that is a little vicious. But you could breakfall with the forearm and give him an extra strength headache.

Mind you, I am not talking permanent damage.

THere is something I want you to think about, however. These kids are breaking the law, and if a few of them show up at school with their nose all bent, or two puffed and shut eyeballs, they are going to think twice.

What, we’re supposed to wait for the police?

Look, at the first sign of cops the kids all drop everything and say they didn’t do anything. The cops don’t want to bother with the arrest, the parents are at the station house screaming, and the merchant ends up going out of business.

So don’t beat somebody up, don’t commit a crime, just let your feet get accidentally tangled, and then make sure you breakfall when you hit the ground. Oops. Sorry, sonny. I’ll watch out better next time I fall down on a thief.

Remember, don’t deliberately hurt anybody, you don’t want to become the criminal. But, a little flash mob karate at the right time and place and you’ll be doing the world a favor.

Would Tayvon Martin be Dead if He Had Learned Martial Arts?

Would Tayvon be in the ground if he had learned martial arts?

Interesting question, eh? But I often wonder if learning the martial arts would make a difference in people’s lives. Tayvon, of course, is supposed to have punched George Zimmerman in the face, jumped on him when he was down, and bashed his skull against the concrete.

learn martial arts

Martial Arts Knowledge is the Key!

Did he? I don’t know, but the pics I have seen of Zimmerman’s head seems to indicate yes.

So, would Tayvon Martin have jumped George if he knew Karate, or Kung Fu? Probably not. Kids get their anxieties taken care of on the mat, they don’t take them to the street. This is not a guarantee, of course, merely an opinion.

The other side of this question is whether George Zimmerman would have shot Tayvon Martin dead if he knew Kenpo or Taekwondo, or something like that?

Again, opinion, but probably not. He would have been more alert, would have kept more distance. Heck, if Tayvon did do the jumping, he would have seent he look in George’s eyes that he was ready.

There is one thing that happens in the martial arts, in a Karate dojo or a kung fu kwoon, and that is a look that comes into the eyes. ‘I know about fighting, so I don’t want to fight.’

Bad guys see this. And if Tayvon was the bad guy, then he would have passed on george and moved on to other prey.

Well, it is all conjecture at this point, except for one thing. The practice and discipline, the respect and mental health that come from a study of the martial arts is real, and kids everywhere learn lessons that George Zimmerman and Tayvon Martin never learned.

Learn Zombie Kung Fu Now and Kill the Living!

Zombie Kung Fu is the Deadliest Martial Art!

I bet that if I started a zombie kung fu school I would get fabulously wealthy. I could teach all the secret martial arts techniques that the undead use to rip the living heart out of some fool who can’t run very fast. I could teach people the secret monster karate techniques that…maybe I better get to the point?

monster karate

You Think You Know Crazy?

My wife was sure that I was destroying my sons’ fragile, eggshell minds. We would sit for hours and watch monster movies. And then I would teach them martial arts.

What she didn’t know was that we were studying several key points which were crucial to understanding the martial arts. The main point was the use of wires and make up. Understand these two things and it will change the way you think about the martial arts, and it will even undo the harmful effects of Hollywood scripting.

First, we would spend hours analyzing how Hollywood did its effects. How did that zombie jump from one roof to the next? The answer, we would find, would be a crane with a wire, or a blue screen and a ramp pasted onto the background.

This led to attempts to duplicate certain feats, with me holding onto the belt, placing a hand under the back, or otherwise seeing if something could be done. Interestingly, this led to the boys appreciating the need for spotters and proper instruction before attempting those things they do on TV and warn you not to do.

The second thing was makeup, and while we didn’t start roaming the neighborhood in monster drag, we did get in severe analysis of how make up could be used to enhance slaughter. If you bent the head a certain way, put a metal plate against the throat, you could explode a small charge and make it look like a throat was blowing out. Wild.

And, the method for inserting arrows, knives, bullets, or whatever the projectile of your choice into the body part of your choice was interesting. This led to analysis of whether the body would react the way it did under impact. Interesting, to say the least.

I know this is an odd article, and I know that people will not like me for the way I raised my kids. But my kids are not fooled by Hollywood, don’t get upset by fake blood, appreciate good film making, know that no actors were harmed in the filming of this movie, and understand better how reality works. So I think you better learn a little Zombie Kung Fu, that way maybe you’ll survive when the zombies come for you.

Bruce Lee Workouts And the Real Way to Build Strength-Part Two

Bruce Lee Workouts were incredible, and they resulted in incredible strength!

When people do Bruce Lee workouts of some sort they have no idea what they are getting into. They see the movies, they read the books, but they don’t know what Bruce Lee was really capable of. They don’t know just how powerful he really was.

jun fan gung fuYou see, it wasn’t just that he was a martial arts fanatic, a physical cultist, but that he could actually do superhuman feats of strength. I’ve listed a few of the things he could do here, and you should consider them seriously when you do your Bruce Lee workouts routine. It’s more than just push ups and sit ups, you see, it is going beyond the limits of the body.

First, the sheer speed one builds doing Bruce Lee training routines is more than just faster than the eye could see, it is faster than the mind can comprehend! He could punch an opponent in five one hundredths of second…that’s 0.05 seconds. Try moving your thumb that fast on your digital stopwatch!

Second, Bruce Lee could extend a seventy-five pound barbell straight from his body-arm for several seconds. That is a incredibly difficult. Go ahead, pick up a cinder block and hold it straight out, and that is only a few pounds.

Here is your sleight of hand, magician’s trick-The Little Dragon could snatch a dime out of your open palm and leave a penny. Man, that is faster than a banker forecloses! It’s hard enough to just snatch a coin, let alone leave some change!

Fourth, think your push ups are pretty nifty? Try doing a push up on the thumb and forefinger! His fingers were more powerful than your whole arm!

Or, and I love this one, Mr. Lee could do 50 one arm chin up repetitions! Let me repeat that…that’s FIFTY one hand chin ups. How would you like to have a python as strong as his arms choking you out?

Sixth, and this is for all those tough guys out there that think they can take a kick, Bruce Lee could kick a 300 pound kicking bag and make it hit the ceiling! Now that is launch power! Interestingly, there aren’t a lot of 300 pound martial arts kicking bags around, and Bruce had his made special.

Finally, Bruce could hold an elevated V-sit up position for thirty minutes. I would think that that would actually qualify him as a yoga master, in addition to all his strength and martial arts accomplishments. Think about some of these things when you decide to do some Bruce Lee workouts.

The best way to make a perfect and strong body is Yogata. Head to Monster Martial Arts to find out more.

Karate Kumite…Mad Dog Survival Isn’t Always Emotional!

Karate Kumite is the Fastest Way to Learn How to Fight!

Karate Kumite and Clint Eastwood, I never thought I’d be talking about those two things together. In ‘The Outlaw Josie Wales,’ Clint lectures some sissy pioneers about how to get mad dog mean if you want to survive. There is truth in his lecture, but if you are involved in classical martial arts training, there is also a lie.

monster martial artsThe truth of the matter is that you have to grow your desire to survive. You have to try harder than you have ever tried before. You have to be willing to fight and not stop fighting.

The falsehood in his lecture is that emotion increases desire to win. To understand why this is important in the martial arts we have to define what emotion is. The bizarre fact is that if you look in a dictionary there is not a good definition.

Emotion is not going to be ‘mood,’ or an ‘instinctive state of mind,’ and a definition of that sort tells us very little. So think on this: when somebody is unable to accept reality they create a mental turmoil that is emotion. That’s a heck of a good definition, and I know because I wrote it myself, but we have to look deeper if we are really going to understand emotion and how it works.

The Neutronic definition is: ‘Motion inside the mind.’ You feel a little rage, and in your mind you want to make motion towards the person causing it (hit them in the head with a hammer). But it is all in your mind, and it tends to be a little less than real.

If you were going to strike somebody, would you focus energy into your knee? Sort of a waste, eh? As a martial artist you want to focus energy only into the fist.

When you direct energy into body parts other than the one(s) being used this is wasting energy. This same holds true concerning emotion. Energy in emotion is not energy dedicated to the desire to win; to win it is best if we get mad dog cool, not extra angry.

Emotion is not a bad thing, for emotion is something we can use to communicate others, show our real feelings, experience love, and that sort of thing. However, emotion when you are trying to survive a dire situation can stultify a person’s desire to fight. When it comes to Karate Kumite, or any other type of classical martial arts fighting method, you must increase your desire to win without falling into emotion, or trying to use emotion in any way.

Learn Kung Fu: Five Methods Including Reversing The Matrix

Learn Kung Fu by Reversing the Matrix!

Tto learn Kung Fu or Karate, or to learn any martial art there are many methods. Unfortunately, most of these methods have limited workability. There is one method, however, that can be used in any art, and improves the learning curve drastically.

Most methods, you see, are based on monkey see monkey do, which is pretty much the oldest, and most inefficient, martial arts training method in existence, in history, and ever. The modern, state of the art method for learning a martial art is matrixing. No offense, but if you live in some backwoods place and haven’t heard of matrixing, you could probably do a quick google on matrix karate, or matrix kung fu, and find out what it is.

At any rate, there are some rather simple methods one can use if one decides to learn by Kung videos, learn taekwondo online, or whatever. The first method, though it is still of the monkey see monkey do variety, is to learn a form or martial arts kata. The learning curve starts to take off, however, when one realizes that they can practice the form facing in any of the four directions of the compass.

learn Kung Fu diagram

All Arts Are Part of the Same Puzzle--If You Can solve Them!

One faces in a certain direction when learning a form, maybe because they are watching a martial arts video, gets used to the direction, even uses key things in the environment to orient themselves. So to start facing north instead of south is actually a good thing. One quickly discards environmental cues and starts inputting the form without need for external reference points.

A second way to learn forms and self defense techniques is to simply do them on both the right and the left side. Everybody figures this one out pretty quickly in their training. To do Karate forms, or Kenpo techniques on both the right side and the left side of the body tends to ‘wake up the brain,’ and the student quickly considers martial arts moves in new ways.

The third way of studying martial arts forms is to perform them backwards. Do your Karate kata backwards-not just the sequence of blocks and strikes in reverse order, but to reverse motion the moves themselves-and you will find the mental capacity expanding geometrically. Not many people have seen this method, it is difficult to do, but man…does it work!

Now, we have actually left most people behind with the last method, and that’s too bad, because it is about to get juicy. Once one learns how to write a matrix on a martial arts, kung fu, karate, or whatever, they think they have opened up wide new vistas of martial arts techniques. They have only scratched the surface, however, for there are two other things one can do that are simple and easy and yet have profound impact.

First, one can put matrixes together; just as the matrixes use basic techniques to open up other techniques, one can use whole matrixes to open up other matrixes. Second, one can actually flip, or reverse, matrixes, and this one opens up the mind and causes massive amounts of data to unfold. Of course, one has to learn how to write a matrix first, and then do a few of them, but once they have done this they will be able to reverse the matrix and learn martial arts faster; they will be able to learn Kung Fu or taekwondo or any martial art they want faster than Neo can play hop scotch.

Martial Science of Neutronics Handles the Mugger!

Martial Science or Martial Art?
Martial Science is what it is,
but everybody thinks it is a Martial Art.
So what is the science behind the science?
What is the Neutronics behind Matrixing?
Matrixing is the analysis and handling of force and direction.
Actually
it is the analysis of the direction of force
so that you can handle it.
Neutronics is the study of motion.
martial artsOr,
to be precise,
it is the study of motion
from a fixed position.
Neutronics is based on three things
Protonic (going towards),
Electronic (going away),
Neutronic (nothing happens).
There is nothing else.
Now,
a guy is walking down the street
and nothing is really happening.
There’s nobody around,
he’s alone,
nothing is happening.
Then
a mugger appears,
does our hero go protonic or electronic?
Fight or flight,
our hero decides to be smart
and starts running.
But the mugger runs faster.
So our hero must zig and zag
and do everything in his power
to make sure
that distance doesn’t close.
He can’t run away,
he doesn’t want to run towards,
so he must maintain distance,
he must make sure that…
‘nothing happens.’
But it is a different level of ‘nothing happening.’
Our hero must control the universe
through his protonic or electronic maneuverings
to create ‘nothing happening.’
Can you do this?
Can you study enough martial arts
so that you have enough knowledge
so that you are creating ‘nothing happening’
and enjoying it?
The mugger is swinging a club and screaming,
and you are laughing and playing.
Eh?
Okay,
so you don’t have a mugger coming at you.
But,
the boss wants to cut your pay
the wife is so irritated she is burning the potatoes,
and the kids are playing with junkies in school…
can you move towards or away
from each of these people
in such a  manner that
not only do you laugh and play,
but they start to laugh and play?
That is neutronic.
That is maintaining a distance
so that everybody wins.
That is real Martial Arts,
that is knowing the martial arts so well
that they take over your life,
and that is going Neutronic.
And a correct study of the Martial Arts
is the only way to do this.
Now,
the sequence is this.
One,
you must learn enough martial arts
so that you have a discipline to hold yourself firm,
that you become a fixed position in space.
Two,
you must matrix those martial arts
so they make sense
and become intuitive.
Three,
you must understand how to use Neutronics.
Simply,
you must understand one and two
so well
that you no longer need the physical,
that you can just use the mental
to do your analysis and handling
of force and direction
and control the universe.
This is how you play with the mugger
get the boss to laugh while he gives you a raise
manipulate the wife’s irritation into joy
and go to the principle’s office because your son just beat up a drug dealer in school.
Okay, okay,
so maybe we missed it a bit on the kid,
but,
hey,
it’s not a bad miss,
right?
Grin.
Anyway,
that’s Neutronics.
It is an actual science
based on the motions of the universe,
and it is the science
behind the science of matrixing.
You can check out Matrixing at
ChurchofMartrialArts(dot)com.
But,
make sure you have enough martial arts discipline
to hold yourself firm,
and enough Matrixing to make it all logical.
Here’s the Matrix Karate course,
it has the basic Matrixing tables,
and the core theory to matrixing,
and will fix any other martial art.
All you have to do is take the matrixing tables
and plug your art into them.
And if you want to start your matrixing
in another art,
that’s okay, too.
Study what interests you.
That’s about it,
not much more to  say,
and it’s time to go work out.

The Hard Punch Of Flux Theory Is The Secret Of An Empty Strike

Hardest punch

A Tight Fist is a Heavy Fist!

If martial artists really want to know how to punch hard they have to study Flux Theory. Flux Theory is the study of the flow of energy, and is specific to the martial arts. Except for a few mystical concepts, Flux Theory is rarely understood.

The Flow of Energy has two directions, and these would be positive or negative. Of course, this is a matter of viewpoint. For the transfer of energy from one person to the next is a flow and the viewpoint of positive or negative will change depending on who is looking at it.

When energy flows towards somebody it is generally referred to as positive. When energy flows away from somebody it is generally referred to as negative. To create the hard punch of Flux Theory one must strike with negative energy.

What this means is that the strike is flowing towards someone in a positive manner, but the energy in the arm flows away from the fist. I know this sounds contrary, but it isn’t, it is the idea of relaxing until the arm is limp and relaxed, and that while striking. Thus, you are striking somebody with an arm in which the concept of life has been removed.

I know that sounds bizarre, but it isn’t. The whole notion occurs in your head, you see. You take the consideration of life out of the limb when striking.

What occurs is that when you take the consideration for life out of your punching limb, you make your arm into an ‘inanimate object.’ Thus, you are not throwing a fist at another human being, you are throwing a ‘stick,’ a lump, an object with no consideration for what it hits.

And that means you are punching the other person without consideration for him as a human being. You don’t worry about the sanctity of life, you just throw an inanimate object at them. This works better and better as you become more able to move your awareness back out of your body.

The reason this works is because people normally don’t want to hurt other people, so they put energy in the arm so that shock can be absorbed by the arm. Hit, hit, hit…and there is no damage because the arm absorbs it all. When the arm is an empty stick, however, and you have lost the desire to ‘not hurt’ your fellow man, the energy is transmitted purely and the effect on the opponent is the hard punch of Flux Theory.

the hardest punch

Man Steals Own TV Set And Asks Why Didn’t He Learn Kung Fu!

Don’t Help Criminals! Learn Kung Fu!

This fellow had to be asking why didn’t he learn Kung Fu. He lived in Wilmington, Delaware, and he was sauntering down the sidewalk, approaching his own home. Seeing a fellow carrying a TV set, and seeing that the fellow was struggling, he quickly jumped in and offered to help.

You can imagine his surprise, maybe when he grabbed the falling remote, or maybe saw a glass stain on the top, or whatever, that he was holding his own TV set. He looked down the street and realized that his front door was open! That’s right, he was helping a thief steal his own TV set!

Now, what do you do in such a predicament? Do you let go of the TV set, breaking it, and throw a front kick? Do you ask the fellow to put it on the ground for a second, pretending you are tired or need to regrip it, and then scream bloody murder?

After all, the thief has broken into your house. He has gone through your stuff, selected what he thought he would like, and treated your home like a supermarket! Is there any reason to think he hasn’t been in prison, doesn’t know how to fight, isn’t willing to kill you over a TV set?

That’s the point at which you wished you had studied a good system of Kung Fu. A Martial Art like Wing Chun or Hsing i, or maybe even a bit of Tai Chi Chuan! After all, if you want to get in a war with a criminal, you need to be in tip top physical shape, and you need to know how to inflict a little damage while not getting a little damage.

Your best chance is just to scream for all you are worth. After all, criminals don’t want to meet the police, they want to get away! That’s why they call them criminals, right?

Your second best bet, in the event that he decides to take you out and continue with his shopping of your property, is to maintain distance and try a kick for the gonads. You should do this while screaming as loud as you can, of course. Kicks to the groin, taking out the knees, all while staying out of range of his criminal fists is a good idea.

Your last bet, and this is last chance, is to slug it out, grapple, do anything you can to take him out, all while screaming, all while trying to make sure he doesn’t get to you. You know, if you study something like Tai Chi Chuan, a Shaolin Kung fu, anything like that, you are going to have a tremendous advantage. A hardened criminal doesn’t have the strength of discipline to learn Kung Fu, so if you have learned, you will definitely have a better chance of surviving.
